Dit bericht gaat in op de publicatie van het CROW Digitale infrastructuur rapport.<\/h2>\n

Wat hebben we gedaan?<\/h2>\n

In Nederland worden autonome en zelfrijdende voertuigen in operatie gebracht, deze voertuigen zijn voorzien van intelligente sensoren en systemen om de omgeving waar te nemen. Door de omgeving te voorzien van \u2018Digitale infrastructuur\u2019 zoals LiDAR sensoren, Radar en camera\u2019s met intelligente software kan een automatisch voertuig op een veilige manier complexe kruispunten oversteken. Naast huidige verkeersregelinstallaties zijn er ook intelligente variante uitgerold namelijk de iVRI\u2019s waarbij gebruik van zal worden gemaakt. Hiervoor is in het kader van het AVLM programma van de MRDH een testsysteem ontwikkeld en succesvol beproefd op het terrein van de European Space Agency (ESA-Estec) in Noordwijk.<\/h2>\n

Waarom doen we dit?<\/h2>\n

Deze ontwikkelingen in de voertuigentechniek hebben effect op het wegontwerp en wegbeheer. CROW is \u00e9\u00e9n van de partijen die ervoor zorgt dat in Nederland de infrastructuur, de openbare ruimte, het verkeer en vervoer goed georganiseerd is. Samen met partners MapTM en Spring Innovation heeft The Future Mobility Network lessen verzameld voor wegbeheerders en ontwikkelaar waarin de geleerde lessen gebundeld zijn.<\/p>\n

Resultaat<\/h2>\n

De publicatie gaat in op de ontwikkeling van de \u2018shuttles & pods\u2019 als aanvulling op personenvervoer. In de publicatie gaan wij in op de benodigdheden, veiligheidsaspecten en en technische ondersteuning ten behoeve van het oversteken van complexe kruispunten mogelijk maken.<\/p>\n
