De afgelopen jaren is ge\u00efnvesteerd in een aantal projecten in het centrum: de Markt is opnieuw ingericht en de Vecht, haar oevers en de relatie met het centrum zijn verbeterd. De inzet is gericht op het sterker maken van Ommen centrum en het ontvangen van inwoners en bezoekers in een vitaal en gastvrij centrum.<\/p>\n<h2>Centrum van Ommen volop in beweging<\/h2>\n<p>Vragen waar het nieuwe centrumplan van Ommen antwoord op geeft:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wat wordt het toekomstige kernwinkelgebied in het centrum van Ommen?<\/li>\n<li>Moet worden ingezet op een compacter kernwinkelgebied?<\/li>\n<li>Of moet juist voor het hele gebied flexibeler beleid komen? Waarbij een mix van functies wordt toegelaten?<\/li>\n<li>Wat is de toekomstige identiteit en functie van de diverse (winkel)straten in het centrum?<\/li>\n<li>Welke kansen zijn er, bijvoorbeeld voor nieuwe initiatieven? In welke gebieden kunnen deze het beste landen?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Samenwerking als sleutel voor een gedragen centrumvisie<\/h2>\n<p>In opdracht van het Ondernemersfonds Centrum Ommen, en in samenwerking met ondernemers, eigenaren en gemeente heeft BRO het nieuwe centrumplan voor Ommen opgesteld. Dit plan geeft een integrale visie en een ambitie voor het centrum, en biedt ondernemers, pandeigenaren, gemeente en anderen inspiratie \u00e9n duidelijkheid hoe om te gaan met toekomstige keuzes en investeringen in het centrum.<\/p>\n<h2>Aanpak centrumplan vraagt om keuzes in ruimte en functie<\/h2>\n<p>Om het perspectief voor het centrum te versterken en de leegstand aan te pakken, zijn in het plan functionele en ruimtelijke keuzes gemaakt. Ingezet wordt op een compact centrumgebied. Daarbinnen is op basis van locatie, kwaliteiten en kansen per deelgebied aangegeven waar de komende jaren de winkel of centrumfuncties versterkt kunnen worden, of waar transformatie naar andere functies zoals wonen, mogelijk is. Vanuit een integrale kijk heeft BRO aandacht besteed aan de verschillende lagen van het centrum. Daarbij is niet alleen aandacht voor de juiste functie op de juiste plek, maar ook voor versterking van sfeer en beleving in het centrum, meer ruimte voor groen en klimaatadaptatie en bereikbaarheid en parkeren.<\/p>\n<h2>Van centrumvisie naar uitvoering: samen aan de slag!<\/h2>\n<p>De uitwerking van de visie en de opgaven, idee\u00ebn en verbeteringen voor het centrum van Ommen en de deelgebieden zijn vertaald in een uitvoeringsprogramma met acties, maatregelen en projecten. Alle centrumpartijen hebben hierbij een rol. De aanpak en verbetering van Ommen is een gezamenlijke verantwoordelijkheid en een gezamenlijke opgave.
