De combinatie van <em>de Tornado<\/em> en de Fenix hallen met het nieuwe kunstmuseum over migratie bood alles. De prachtige betonconstructies en industri\u00eble gevels van de historische havenloods uit 1923 vormt een geweldige setting voor de glossy design feature van het nieuwe icoon van MAD. En je kunt er uit je dak gaan naar het panoramapunt met fantastisch uitzicht over de hele Rotterdamse haven en de distorted view in het spiegelende RVS \u00e0 la het Depot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/studiosk.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/09\/StudioSK_Excursie2025_5-1-652x870.webp\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Na een hapje in de Food-hallen met de RandstadRail \u2013 met onderweg ons station Leidschenveen \u2013 naar de stad achter de duinen, en wel naar Scheveningen. Daar staat aan de kop van de boulevard ons onlangs geopende gebouw, een juweeltje waar de bediening plaatsvindt van alle tunnels in Den Haag en de scheepvaart van Scheveningen haven. Het is door ons ontworpen in samenwerking met VANDELUNE en is onmiskenbaar nautisch.<\/p>\n<p>Een robuuste sokkel vormt de basis, met daarboven een uitkragend volume dat doet denken aan een schip. Grote, voorover hellende glaspartijen bieden een panoramisch uitzicht over zee en haven. De bediencentrale is volledig gasloos en maakt gebruik van elektrische warmtepompen. De restwarmte van servers wordt benut voor verwarming.
