In het railcentrum Amersfoort is om personeel op te leiden een volledige simulatorruimte ontworpen en geprint.\u00a0studioSK heeft in samenwerking met afdeling \u201cvirtual reality\u201d van Movares en 3D Robotprinting de nieuwe Europese standaard voor de automatische beveiliging van het spoor gesimuleerd en vormgegeven.\u00a0 Deze opstelling bestaat uit een carrosserie van 3D geprint kunststof en maakt gebruik van Unity 3D software, het grootste serious game platform van de wereld.<\/p>\n

De komende jaren zijn er verschillende ontwikkelingen waar trein, tram en metrobestuurders dagelijks mee te maken krijgen tijdens hun werk. Door gebruik van deze simulatoren kan nieuwe technologie uitvoerig worden getest en verbeterd. In ons land liggen al enkele baanvakken met het nieuwe systeem: ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System). Dit systeem kan, in tegenstelling tot de huidige spoorbeveiliging, door slimme elektronica en dataverbindingen precies in kaart brengen wat er over het spoor rijdt. Daarmee kan bijvoorbeeld bepalen of het om een zware of lange trein gaat en daarmee kan de remweg bepaald worden. De frequentie waarmee treinen achter elkaar rijden kan daarmee op een veilige manier verhoogd worden.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
