In het kader van de MIRT verkenning Multimodale Knoop Schiphol (MKS) heeft studioSK-Movares in opdracht van het ministerie van IenW (penvoerder namens samenwerkende partners) oplossingen ontwikkeld voor het nijpend capaciteitstekort op Schiphol.<\/p>\n

De capaciteit van de MKS is nu al een knelpunt en naar verwachting zal het aantal gebruikers van de MKS de komende 20 jaar verdubbelen. Aanpassing van zowel het station als van de ontvangstruimte van de luchthaven is urgent. Binnen strakke normen en beschikbare ruimte zijn optimalisaties en uitbreidingen ontworpen, die de groei voor tenminste de komende 15 jaar kunnen faciliteren. Tevens zijn ingrijpender maatregelen voor de periode daarna verbeeld. Daarmee heeft studioSK ontwerpenderwijs de ingredi\u00ebnten geleverd voor besluitvorming die voorjaar 2019 zal plaatsvinden.\u00a0 StudioSK vervaardigde ruimtelijk-functioneel-ontwerpen (in varianten), een beeldambitiedocument en \u2013 in samenwerking met strategisch partner Ecorys \u2013 alle aanvullende deelproducten die voor besluitvorming noodzakelijk zijn.<\/p>\n
