Dit station \u2013 of liever: het stationsgebied Helmond \u2013 werd in 2014 geopend. De integrale aanpak straalt van het gebied af.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018De ambitie is van het ontwerp af te lezen. Het hele gebied straalt\u00a0 duurzaamheid uit\u2019, vertelt een enthousiaste Alex Rigter, manager Duurzaamheid bij NS Stations. Om vervolgens een meer inhoudelijke verklaring daarvoor te geven. Het stationsgebied heeft een krachtige identiteit met een nieuw, flexibel bruikbaar stationsgebouw en een zorgvuldig vormgegeven openbare ruimte.
